St. Neots Surgery Online Appointments and Repeat

Thank you for your interest in our online services. This guide aims to explain how to sign up to and make best use of them.
Both these services are fully accessible via our website. It is important to note that they are separate services at present.
The reason for this is that the Appointments service has to be based from the website of our IT system manufacturer (TheWaitingRoom.net) so that appointments can be booked live without risk of double booking. The Prescriptions Service, which has been running for several years, has no such obligation and we are loathe to change what has already been successful without good reason. We are looking however to simplify this process as soon as is practicable.
Due to Online Appointments and Repeat Prescriptions being separate services you
will need a different account for each service. You can however use the same e-mail
address for both accounts.
Below is a table illustrating the sign-up process for these services.

1. Ensure that St. Neots Surgery has on its computer records a valid e-mail address. Each member of a household,
including children, must have a different and unique e-
mail address recorded for this service- see overleaf for
further details.
You can provide us with an e-mail address through (a) completing the registration when joining the surgery (b) filling in the information form attached 2. On receipt of your e-mail address our IT system will automatically send you an activation e-mail within 24 3. Open your e-mail account to receive the e-mail to activate 4. Once activated select ʻRequest an appointment with a doctorʼ link on our homepage to access The Waiting Room.net.
