TSFC Launches New Website
We have recently unveiled our new website and if you haven’t already, we invite you to drop by and take a look at and let
us know what you think. You will find a fresh look to our usual content and a few new surprises. We are still fine tuning our online
ordering and donation pages but we expect these options to be available in the very near future. In the meantime we are still available by
phone. A special thank you to our former Webmaster, Bob Rogers for his immeasurable time, commitment and dedication.
Member Survey
We are asking for input from our membership in creating a National Advocacy Strategy. What does advocacy mean to you and what can
the TSFC do to better meet your needs in this area? These are some of the questions that we are hoping to answer with our National
Advocacy Strategy Survey. Please take a few minutes to fill out the on-line survey at:

programs for children and teens, young adults, couples, adults, parents, educators and anyone with an interest in TS. If you have never at-
tended one of our conferences we urge you to consider joining us this year where your family will have the opportunity to learn from
experts in the field of TS and other neurological disorders and gain support from others who are going through the same experiences.

Sleep Study
Dr. Robyn Stephens, Dr. Paul Sandor and Dr. Colin Shapiro are looking for individuals to participate in a new study that will look at
how the medication Clonidine affects sleep and aggressive behaviour in children with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD. This study has
received ethical clearance from the TSFC’s Medical Advisory Board. The research team is looking for 32 children aged nine to 14 who
have TS and ADHD. Travel expenses will be covered and participants will receive a formal consultation with a sleep physician and a
