Broad Spectrum
Maximum yields come from weed-free paddocks. And there's no better way to control weeds
than Rygel Triasulfuron. Rygel Triasulfuron provides superior control of Annual Ryegrass and
more than 40 other broadleaf weeds in cereal crops, including Amaranthus, Capeweed, Clover,
Deadnettle, Dock, Doublegee, Mustards, NZ Spinach, Sorrel, Soursob, Wild Radish, Wild
Turnip and Wireweed.
Application Flexibility
Rygel Triasulfuron has a unique flexibility of application. It can be applied pre-sowing to wheat
and triticale crops, or early post-emergence to wheat, oats, barley, triticale and cereal rye. Spray
early for best results.
Compatibility
When using a tank mix of Rygel Triasulfuron 750 WG Herbicide and paraquat/diquat, add
Rygel Triasulfuron, with constant agitation, to approximately half the total volume of water to
be used.Ensure that the Rygel Triasulfuron is fully dispersed.Add the paraquat/diquat, fill the
spray tank to full volume with water and mix thoroughly.Apply tank mix immediately, under
constant agitation.Rygel Triasulfuron 750 WG Herbicide is compatible with S-metolachlor, tri-
allate, paraquat/diquat, glyphosate, 2,4-D amine, metsulfuron-methyl, bromoxynil, trifluralin,
sodium molybdate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, chlorpyrifos,
permethrin.
Convenient
Rygel Triasulfuron comes in a dry flowable formulation that is easy to handle, measure and
mix. The tiny granules disperse quickly and completely in the spray tank, and there are no
bulky containers to dispose of. The highly active and concentrated formulation means less
chemical is used per hectare.
Mode of Action
Rygel Triasulfuron contains triasulfuron, a member of the highly effective family of
sulfonylurea herbicides. Its active ingredient is a very potent and rapid inhibitor of plant cell
division and plant growth. Rygel Triasulfuron is a Group B herbicide.
Environmental Safety
Rygel Triasulfuron has a very low toxicity and degrades
rapidly in the environment. When used as directed, it does not
create any hazards to humans, fish or animals. It is non-
hormonal and can be safely applied near sensitive crops.
Naturally, you should always use care when spraying
herbicides, and avoid spray-drift.
Protection of wildlife, fish,
crustaceans and environment

DO NOT apply or drain or flush equipment on or near desirable trees or other plants or on areaswhere their roots may extend or in locations where the chemical may be washed or moved intocontact with their roots. DO NOT apply under weather conditions, or from spraying equipment, that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands or pasture.
Storage and disposal and protection of others
Store in the closed, original container in a well-ventilated area, as cool as possible. DO NOT store
for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before
disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling,
replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling,
break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is
available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for
this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and
product should not be burnt.
Safety directions

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Accidental Release:
In case of spillage it is important to take all steps necessary to:
• Avoid contamination of all areas where vegetation grows - this is an extremely potent selective herbicide, and
contaminated areas may not support vegetation for many years.
• Avoid eye and skin contact.
• Avoid contamination of waterways.
Procedure for spill:
(1) Keep all bystanders away.
(2) Wear full length clothing and PVC gloves.
(3) Sweep up dust thoroughly and shovel into an uncontaminated drum, adding any broken containers.
(4) If agricultural soil has been contaminated consider the option of removing and disposing of the contaminated
soil to allow vegetation to grow and to stop further contamination.
(5) Dispose of by burying in an approved secure landfill site.
(6) Clean all contaminated equipment by rinsing in a dilute solution of 1 litre sodium hypochlorite (0.2%) solution,
to 200 litres of water.
Note: In the unlikely event of a major prepared spray spill, consider the possible long term consequences to the
vegetation. If good agricultural land is likely to be affected it may be necessary to contain and absorb the spill
with a soil or sand dam. Disposal of sand/soil dam and any contaminated soil should be carried out as above.
